I would like to be able to attach a copy of my tax invoice or receipt to the relevant transaction.177 votes
We now started working on adding this feature. You can see what we have planned on our Roadmap at http://psmth.to/z4.
Thanks to everyone that voted for this idea.
Initially this will be simple file uploader, that will allow you to upload files for a transaction, such as receipts or any other documents that are relevant to the transaction.
Once we have the file uploader implemented, we may look at integration with other services, such as Dropbox, Google Drive or Evernote if there is enough demand.
Starting off with a new account, I have a large number of transactions, but no events or budgets in the calendar forecast.
The Personal Summary gives me an "Add to calendar" button, which allows creating an an event based on transaction averages.
But, I'd like to be able to access and set up budgets from a list format, allowing one-click-creation budgets based on averages131 votes
We are currently working on an automatic forecasting feature. This will create budgets from your categorised transactions.
You can see what we have planned for automatic forecasting on our Roadmap at http://psmth.to/J7.
I like the idea of Pocketsmith but I am really confused as to how to work it and there's not a lot of help on the site. For each section I would like to be able to click on something that explictly tells me what I am looking at and what it means.I added my bank accounts and my bills but after that, I have no idea what next.21 votes
We are currently working on an improved new user introduction, that will help people getting started.
Presently, "Transfers" show up in the Financial Digest making this report less meaningful for individuals who transfer money between multiple accounts being viewed in pocketsmith.
The option to chose which categories are ignored from the Financial Digest - as you can the Cashflows and Budgets pages - would greatly enhance this useful new report.15 votes
Sorry for this issue with showing transfer transactions in the new Digest page. We are currently working on fix, which we hope to release soon.
More than a year of transactions should be able to be viewed at once on the Bank Statements page; at the moment data loading method limitations mean that only a year can be displayed while keeping good performance.
The methods of loading data in the Bank Statements page needs to be adjusted to allow high performance across the board.6 votes
We have a new ‘Bank Statements’ page in alpha testing at the moment. This update will allow you view all of your transactions and won’t be limited to a date range, unless you have searched within date range.
We have posted a blog post at http://psmth.to/Jm that explains how you can try out the alpha build and provide feedback.
At the moment, if you want to see the transactions for budget category you have to click on the correct bar on the bar chart, and then there's a small box on the right with 10 transactions in small writing, split over multiple pages.
It would be great to have the transactions displayed more prominently - more like the Bank Statements page, maybe underneath the bar chart - as this is the main way I interrogate my transaction data.3 votes
This is getting closer and closer to reality by the day! The major feature push we’re working on at the moment are the enhancements to the Bank Statements page, as described at http://psmth.to/bsr
This will see the Budget category charts and analysis integrated into the Bank Statements area, so that there is no more traipsing through a tiny table of transactions to find the one you’re looking for.
And everything will be integrated into the new Bank Statements search functionality, meaning tasks like discovering why you went over budget will take far less time than they do currently.
Keep an eye on our product blog for updates!
I would like to be able to download all of my data into excel for the entire year. That way, I can create whatever graphs I want.2 votes
We are currently developing a new ‘Bank Statements’ page, that will allow exporting of your transactions for any time period.
You can currently download all of your transactions in one file. We have a knowledge base article at http://psmth.to/Nr that explains how this can be done.
