Transactions page pie chart

You may want to see a breakdown of the transactions from an account or search, into income and expense or into categories. Select the pie graph icon on the top of the Transactions page

You will then see a pie chart showing the total of your income and expense transactions. You can hover on the name or section of the pie chart to see the percentage and totals for the section. 

You can then then click on either the income or expense section of the pie chart to see your main income or expense categories. If a category has sub-categories, you can then click on the category and it will show a breakdown of the sub-categories within the main category. If the category doesn't have sub-categories and you click on it, the section will separate from the pie chart and it will show the total on the right side, where you can choose to see all the transactions in this category, for this period.

You can also choose to reset the graph back to the income and expense sections or switch between the income or the expense category pie charts.

You can change the period of the pie chart by clicking on the date and adjusting the date range.


  • At the moment you can only drill-down into the categories and not go back to the main category above once drilled down. In the meantime, you will need to reset the graph and drill back down again .

  • If a category contains sub-categories it will display the total for all transactions assigned to the parent catgory and all the sub-categories.

  • If you want to remove transfers from the pie chart, you can change the 'Transaction type' search criteria to only show 'Non-transfer' transactions. We have an article that explains how to use the Bank Statements search at: How do I search my transactions?
